How do I access the correct PCI questionnaire?

  1. Log in to your PCI Central account.

  2. Depending on the date your current certificate expires, you will see one of the following two options. Click on the button signaled by the red arrow.

  3. Introduction: Click “Next.”

  4. Enter Your Merchant Type: You can begin typing the word “legal” until you see “Legal Services and Attorneys” appear as an option.

    Click on “Legal Services and Attorneys” and then click “Next.”
  5. Select Your Processing Method: Select the first option for “Secure Online Payments” and click “Next.”

  6. Secure Online Payments: Click the circle next to the “Outsourced” option on the screen and click “Next.”

  7. PCI will now ask you if you would like to add another processing method. Select “No, Finished adding processing methods.”

  8. Does your business electronically store credit card numbers: By using LawPay, your firm does NOT store credit card numbers. Select “No” and click “Next.”

  9. Eligibility: By using LawPay payment pages, you qualify to answer the shortest version of the PCI questionnaire. Select “Yes” and click “Next.”

  10. In order to become compliant, you will need to complete questions 1-22 of SAQ-A. Click here to view a step-by-step guide of SAQ-A.
